Converting from CodeBreaker v7.0+ to Raw format Tools needed: CB2crypt v1.3 First, find the CodeBreaker v7.0+ code you wish to decrypt to Raw format (For this example, I shall use 'Always Costume 3' for Resident Evil 4). Now, open up CB2crypt and copy and paste the code(s) into the left box. After you do that, check off the small box that reads 'Use common V7 encryption', and click decrypt.

If you cannot find the correct Game ID, you can use ANY ID you want, as long as it is not in use on your Action Replay MAX. Copy and paste any AR MAX code(s) into MaxConvert. Now, there are two small dropdown boxes at the top of MaxConvert, the left being 'Input' and the right being 'Output'.

Click the left dropdown menu (Input) and choose 'AR MAX' and change the right dropdown menu (Output) and choose 'Raw'. Click 'Convert', decrypting the code and obtaining the Game ID. Now, click both 'Clear' buttons at the top, and copy and paste your decrypted CB 7.0+ code into the 'Input' section. Change the left dropdown menu (Input) and choose 'Raw' and change the right dropdown menu (Output) and choose 'AR MAX'. You have now converted a CodeBreaker 7.0+ code to Action Replay MAX.
